Ward Christmas Party ~

We had a fun Ward Christmas Party ... my favorite party was Bruce singing with the guitar.

Preston & Flowers ~

Peyton thought it was hilarious that Preston would sit still long enough for him to cover his head in flower clips ... this was the final product. 

Slippers ~

If Preston sees these slippers he can't resist putting them on ... he loves them.

Cheese ~

I pulled out the camera to upload pictures and he started grunting for me to take his. If I'm holding a camera he wants his picture taken ... he knows pictures = smiles. I loved this one!!!

Exhausted ~

Carl has been being worked to the bones (and I appreciate the man, husband & father he is). We soak up every minute we get when he is in town. Preston follows him around when he's here ... this was one afternoon when they were both exhausted. I found it priceless, but maybe that's a mom/wife thing :)

Thanksgiving ~

Thanksgiving was a bit different this year having all the kids, but not Curtis here. I miss having him around, regardless of the comments people say. I have been apart of his life for almost eight years now and love him immensely. I know Peyton misses him a lot too.

We had a yummy "Thanksgiving" lunch at Luccille's BBQ and enjoyed the afternoon with the kids & Chipman's.

Decorating ~

We decorated for Christmas tonight. The kids had a blast and are really getting excited for it come. It was fun to see Preston getting so excited over the colored "balls".

Sleepy Boy ~

He stayed awake long enough to have a full tummy, then was fast asleep. After he woke up it was shower time :) I think I have the most photos of him either sleeping or eating ~ is that normal?

When he woke up he was ready to go ... Peyton pushed him around in the bucket and it was fun to hear them both giggle. 

Love Our Boys ~

I LOVE our boys ... they are so sweet, sensitive & such a blessing in my life!!!

Shrek ~

Is it bad that at 14 months, Preston already ENJOYS watching movies? I thought it was cute the way he was laying on his tummy, completely glued.

Taekwondo Halloween Party ~

Both boys were being stinkers tonight. Peyton wanted to be a "karate kid" for Halloween.  Regardless of how Carl and I tried to explain to him that wearing his dobok to the party wouldn't look like he dressed up, he didn't care. He ended up deciding on Batman and looked cute! Preston wouldn't let us get a good photo of him in his costume. Every time we'd lift the camera to take a picture, he'd look away. Once we got to the party the kids had a blast and Preston won "cutest" costume for the young age group.

We love Mr. & Miss Martin (Martin's ATA) ... they are AMAZING instructors & people. They have a FABULOUS studio & we are grateful they are apart of our lives. Peyton has grown so much under their instruction. 

Halloween Carnival

I was busy running the photo booth and somehow only ended up with a photo of Kasey at the school Halloween Carnival. She was dressed at Frankensteins Wife, Peyton was dressed as Karate Kid & Alanna was dressed as a witch. It was fun, yet exhausting. 

iChat ~

The kids LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to iChat with Carl when he is out of town. (he loves it too) Sometimes they get silly with the effects. I grabbed these photos while he was playing around with the kids. I think it's important and good for the kids to remember the fun and playful side of their dad. He loves the kids so much and does his best trying to help them feel individually important, loved and appreciated.

Yellow Belt Promotion ~

YEAH!!! Peyton advanced to a yellow belt.

Movies ~

We took the kids to see a movie ... for the life of me, I can't remember which one (that's what I get for waiting months to catch up on blogging). The kids enjoyed every minute as much as Carl did. Preston was a gem and sat through the whole thing (as he usually does) especially when he has popcorn, snacks & blankie.

Latin Country ~

As part of a cultural week at school, one day the kids were supposed to dress in the colors of a latin country's flag. This is the outfit Kasey put together. I thought she looked adorable!

Corndogs, Cookies & Costumes ~

Preston did not like his costume to be put on him this year. I'm not sure why, he loved it at the store. Here are more photos of him eating (they do a lot of it at this age) & then being cranky in his costume :)
